CLLD Class Update:

Music Theory I & II is now 1 PM- 2 PM in Music Ensemble Room #1

CLLD Arts & Culture:

CLLD Art of Knitting & Chatting will resume on Friday, January 27th, with our volunteer instructor Anneliese Sessa. It was previously mentioned that the class was cancelled due to the instructor Mary Owen being unable to teach due to an arm injury. Mary will return to the class once she has fully healed.

Buses leave from the HKC at 12:30PM. Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to departure.
Centered in the historic St. George District of Staten Island, just steps from the iconic Staten Island Ferry, the St. George Theatre was the most magnificent theatre on Staten Island. Solomon Brill of the Isle Theatrical Company broke ground on a beautiful 2,800 seat venue,
Since the theater reopened in June 2004, over 400 events have taken place there.

CLLD ARTS & CULTURE

Art of Knitting & Chatting is cancelled for the rest of the month of January and also for Feb 3 and 10, the instructor will let us know if they can resume on the 17th.
January 25th, 2017: Trip to Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum

Energizing the Everyday celebrates the exceptional gifts from leading collector George R. Kravis II to Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. From radios to furniture, the exhibition displays some of the most influential objects in the history of modernism, alongside contextual works drawn from the museum’s collection. The bus is leaving from HKC at 11:30am.

Music Theory will be from 1-2PM in Music Ensemble Room #1
