Discover Your Apple iPad is cancelled for Wednesday, August 27th. Class will resume again on Wednesday, September 3rd.

All Steven Nutt’s classes will begin on August 25th.

How Does the Immune System Fight Disease will end on August 27th. However there will be additional sessions beginning September 11th – November 13th from 9:30am-10:30am in the President’s Room. (Exception: Ensemble Room #1 on October 23rd)

History of Israel with Amy Posner is cancelled for Friday, August 29th. Class will resume on Friday, September 5th.

Monday August 25: Join our Talk to Me Lecture on personal safety from 1:30-2:30pm in the Adult Lounge

Speaker: Thomas King, Advance Lock and Key Owner. Thomas will be speaking about the importance of home safety including locks & keys, raise awareness of how you can protect yourself and your home to prevent a break in.

Wednesday August 27: Trip to The Jackson Outlets. The bus is leaving at 9:30am. Come and enjoy a shopping trip with us!

Thursday August 28: Cinema Club 12pm-2pm. The Face of Love. 2014, 92 min. Starring Annette Bening, Ed Harris, Robin Williams. Five years after the death of her beloved husband Garrett (Ed Harris), Nikki (Annette Bening) meets a man who seems his exact duplicate. Not only does this stranger possess the same deeply lined face and startling blue eyes, he also shares Garrett's kindness, humor, and passion for art. And yet he is a stranger. Romance blossoms between Nikki and this alluring doppelgänger, but she can't bring herself to tell him the truth about what drew her to him. So she hides her photos and prevents him from meeting friends and family. Still, she can't resist taking him to all the old haunts. It isn't a question of if the truth will come out, but when. Arie Posin directs this emotionally thorny drama about how we cope with loss, live in the moment and ultimately move forward.
