Mah Jong Instructions has been cancelled for the month of December. Monday’s Israeli Folk Dancing will be for intermediate level dancers. Class will take remain in the Media Room 11:30am – 12:30pm. Friday’s Chair Yoga will now take place at 1:30pm – 2:30pm as corrected on the Sports & Wellness schedule. Friday’s Great People in Jewish History will take place from 11am – 12pm in the Adult Lounge. Crochet club with Anita Frimere will start December 18 at 10 am in Rotunda. Please note that Shakespeare as Historian taught by Peter Whitehouse will take place on Tuesdays on the following dates only: 12/9, 12/16, 1/20, 1/27, 2/3, 2/17, 3/3, 3/17, 3/31 & 4/7. Everyday Computing classes (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) are cancelled until further notice. All registered participants who have been accepted into the class have been contacted by telephone on 12/8/14 to be reminded of the cancellation. The registered participants will be notified when class is scheduled to begin. Pinochle Instructions (9:30-11am) and Backgammon Instructions (11am-12pm) taught by Robert Stein are scheduled to begin on Friday, December 19th. Both classes will take place in the President’s Room. Sunday December 14: Join us for a Sunday Brunch and Film featuring Parkland 11am – 2:30pm in the Social Hall. Fee $5 Monday December 15: Let’s Talk about:Disaster and Emergency Preparedness!1:30pm – 2:30 pm in the Adult Lounge. Speaker: Debbie Burack, JCC DART Liaison/Vol. Coordinator Tuesday December 16: Let’s Talk about: How Does Color Affect Your Life? 1pm – 2pm in the President’s Room. Speaker: Sonny Golden, President of Golden Key Interiors Wednesday December 17: Trip to Radio City Christmas Spectacular. The bus is leaving at 9am. All participants attending this trip are to park in the HKC. Thursday December 18: Cinema Club 12pm. Good People. 2014, 90 minutes. Discovering a cache of cash in their dead tenant's apt, a couple in debt take the money and find themselves the target of a deadly adversary-the thief who stole it. Thursday Dinner/Entertainment: Queen Tipsy, an eclectic mix of jazz, blues rhythm and soul. Their passionate delivery of songs aim to stir your soul and move your feet! 5-7pm in the Social Hall. $5 fee for entertainment, $3 suggested donation for dinner.
