Joe's Little Big Band plays all the great songs you loved and grew up with. Music, music, music! The Little Big Band's style lets you listen, sing-a-long, or dance to one of Staten Island's best musical ensembles. Heading the ensemble is the 95 year old trumpeter, Joe "Scootie" Scaramuzzo. Joe led a successful Big Band here in Staten Island for many years, which is where the younger members of this ensemble first met. The presenter, maestro CESARE CIVETTA is an internationally acclaimed conductor who has led more than 60 orchestras in 28 countries, including performances at Lincoln Center and Madison Square Garden. He is the author of The Real Toscanini: Musicians Reveal the Maestro, and his concerts have been broadcast live over National Public Radio, Swedish Radio and the South African Broadcasting Company, and featured on CNN, ABC, CBS, and NBC.
