Updates for the Week of November 16 - 20

Conversational Spanish with Isaias Mercado will meet Monday, 11/16 at 11am in the Adult Lounge.

Peter Whitehouse’s class Departure in Venice will begin Tuesday, 11/17 9:30-10:30am in the Adult Lounge.

Knitting class will be cancelled on 11/20 and 11/27.

Yiddish with Sue Ehrlich will continue to meet every Tuesday, 12:30pm-1:30pm in the Adult Lounge through the month of November.

Tapestry of a People with Amy Posner will take place at 10am every Friday until the end of the semester.

CLLD Young At Heart Sing-a-long will continue to meet every Tuesday at 2:45pm.  

Canasta with Carol Rosen has been cancelled for the rest of the semester.

Recorder class has been cancelled for the rest of the semester.

All of John Bethell’s Computing Beyond Basics (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) have been cancelled for the rest of the semester.

Sunday November 15: Special Program and breakfast. Holocaust Impact on Third generation. 10am in the Social Hall. Suggested donation:$3
Wednesday November 18: Trip to Historical Ellis Island. The buses are leaving from HKC at 9:30am. Please come on time and be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

Thursday November 19:  Special Presentation with Saul Silas Fathi. Story of Armageddon.
According to the Book of Revelation, Armageddon will be the site of gathering of armies for a battle during the end times, variously interpreted as either a literal or a symbolic location. The term is also used in a generic sense to refer to any end of the world scenario.​

Thursday Night Dinner/Entertainment: Dance to the music of Beefcake, as they dig into the sound of the 60s-from Beatles, Rolling Stones and much more.
6-8pm in the Social Hall. $5 fee for entertainment, $3 recommended contribution for dinner.
