CLLD Fitness & Wellness

• XBOX Bowling League will be cancelled Tuesday, 9/18
  
• Heads up for October to our Schvitz it up participants: Oct 3rd & 10th the class will be relocated TBA
  
• Tai Chi will now be an open class beginning Wednesday, Sept. 5th(this means- no need for registration)
  
• Reminder that SAIL is a closed Evidence Based class that will end on Sept. 27th. It will become open to everyone on October 4th.
  
• Last day of Swim is Sept. 4th. Pool closes September 5th and will reopen on October 3rd

CLLD Class Updates

• Starting Tuesday, September 4th Art of Genealogy (2:00- 3:00 PM) will be taking place in the President’s Room
  
• CLLD Coffee House will start on Friday, September 7th at 12:30PM in the Adult lounge.
  
• Art of Needlecraft is being move to the Arts & Crafts Room starting Sep. 7th 11:30AM- 12:30 PM.
  
• Art of Metal Stamping/Jewelry Techniques is starting on Thursday, Sep. 13th at 12:30 PM.

Inspired by his own heritage and dedicated to the Holocaust survivors he met on his journeys, Michael Weinstein gives readers a tour of 180 beautiful synagogues throughout the boroughs of New York City. For two years, Michael's desire to learn as much as he could moved him to visit synagogues in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island. This coffee table book's 613 photos represent each of the mitzvot, or commandments, of Judaism in the Torah. Michael shares the dates that these stunning synagogues were founded as well as their names, including their English translations. Enjoy the journey this photo book will take you on through some of New York City's most historic and lovely synagogues. Join us for a great lecture and Q&A afterwards.Suggested Contribution: $4.00
